Add Color To Your Calendar
|
|
|
|
Microsoft Outlook
2002 and later allow you to
add color to your calendar
to highlight games and
events that are important to
you. Outlook has 10
colors that you can use to
color appointments, games,
holidays and meetings. These
colors are visible in
Day/Week/Month view of
Calendar.
You can color individual
or recurring events
manually, or you can use
rules to automatically color
items that meet certain
conditions, such as when a
certain category is assigned
to the event. Manual
coloring always take
precedence over automatic
coloring, so if you have
applied manual coloring to
an item, automatic coloring
will not be applied to it.
HOW TO MANUALLY APPLY
COLOR
-
Open Microsoft Outlook
and click to view your
calendar.
-
Double-click on the
event on your calendar
that you wish to apply
color to. This will open
the event on your
calendar.
-
In the
Label list,
select the color of your
choice.
-
Click on
Save and Close.
Colors are visible in
Day/Week/Month view of
your Calendar.

APPLY COLOR

and click to view your
calendar.

calendar grid, and then
click

on the shortcut menu.
-
Click

type a name for the rule
such as "Holiday".

your choice (such as

assigned categories for
your convenience. The

imported onto your
calendar before you will
see our assigned
category in your list.
-
Click
OK three times to
close the boxes on your
screen.
-
If the colors are not
immediately visible on
your calendar, switch to
your Inbox and then back

selected should now be
in color.

your Calendar.
Note: If you manually
assign a color to an
item, automatic coloring
